Your weary body heaved heavily around your bed with a tired expression as you softly yawned to yourself when approaching the window. You wiped the collecting gunk off under your eyes while you slowly pulled up the pane to see what was the cause of the sudden noise, an instant cold wind blowing inside that grew a giant shiver up your spine. That’s when you spotted a certain dark blob laying flat on the glass still, raising an eyebrow with confusion as you peeled it off gently to put it into your room while shutting the window once more. You placed the suspicious animal on the large windowsill, about to inspect it further until you jumped back when it suddenly moved.
The mysterious creature unfurled from its spewed form where you could identify it as a bat as it rolled back its wings before leaping off the stand and jumping to the ground. It abruptly transformed largely into a person-like form, when you realized it had turned into an ominous skeleton that was adjusting his coat nearly before looking back at you. They cleared their throat with a fist over their ‘mouth’ while putting them back behind his back with a sharp glare appearing on his skull.
“This is a rather unpleasant meeting, I must say.”
He unexpectedly noted in a cold agitated tone that rung from their surprisingly smooth voice as their gaze roamed around your room, an unimpressed look spreading on his skeletal face before darting their eyelights back to you with a light hum.
