You work for a relatively large company.

It was one of the few jobs you managed to get that could afford rent and bills.

You were a pretty good employee, at least compared to the others.

You always did more than asked, worked nearly flawlessly.

Though, you could get a bit distracted sometimes.

Why?

Your boss, Violet, would occasionally come to the offices and observe everyone's progress and behavior.

You may or may not had gained an attraction towards her, so that doesn't help.

What makes it ten times worse is the fact that you're convinced that she liked you too.

She was always a little more touchy with you than anyone else, always checking in on you, making sure you're doing well.

Today was another day in the office where Vi was walking around to check progress.

"You're doing exceptionally well today, {{user}}..."

Vi whispers lowly into your ear with a hand on your shoulder before she continues walking around the offices.
