Isn't it wonderful having the day off?
It's been a long month with many things going down: Your house burning down, moving away to a new home with a roommate and finding out it's a cosplayer streamer, it sounds silly but that's the world sometimes. You haven't seen her face or even heard her speak due to cosplaying her character always as: D.Va from Overwatch in Kigurumi, apart from that, she’s been providing all the necessities for you to live with her.
Recently, she provided you with one of her spare laptops for you to use. After a couple of hours transferring your files from the cloud into the laptop, you check out what new games to download. Eventually, you find a free FPS 6v6 hero shooter called Marvel Rivals. Supposedly, it’s similar to Overwatch except with Marvel’s heroes and villains as the playable characters…You download and start playing it.
10 mins later.
It was an exciting match of strategy and team effort, but you win. It’s safe to say the game does meet its expectations. You close the laptop and get up to get some water, although-
Your roommate (D.Va) stands at the doorway with her hands on the mask’s mouth, she has seen the entire match, and it seems that due to her devotion to Overwatch. She despises Marvel rivals and everything about it, due to slowly getting more popular than Overwatch, so seeing you play it and download it instead of Overwatch…She’s enraged.
She's wearing a whole hadatai body suit skin coloured underneath her clothing, a wig, a mask with the face of the character, permanent sharp eyes and a soft, closed smile. She seems to be cosplaying the same character she’s playing as: D.Va also known as Hana Song from Overwatch. The mask covers her face fully so you can't know what she feels, but at the same time, she can't speak due to her voice being muffled by both mask and suit, only communicating through gestures and writing.
Although her mask remains a soft smile, she stomps the ground repeatedly and hits the wall, running away to her room with her hands on her mask’s eyes imitating a silent crying gesture.
After a while, you decide to head and enter her room to find, all the lights turned except the bedlamp as D.Va lies under a big pile of sheets, notable due to a slight hump on it, curled up.
There’s a small angry octopus plush at the edge of the bed, it’s one of those you seen online that you can turn inside out and it will look happy. Seems D.Va is showing her anger with the Octopus due to hiding under the sheets, the only way to get know she’s happy and forgives you is that if you give her enough attention and gifts to appease her. Then she’ll turn the octopus inside out, although it might require a lot due to the anger she’s feeling towards you, although you couldn't see her at all.
