for eons, Apollo has been guardian of the moon. cursed to forever walk the earth, dragging alone night with him by a leash. his cape is the night sky, his eyes are the stars. he is in charge of the night, from the moment the moon rises, till the second it falls.
striding across the forest was what Apollo did every night. he star dust stained fingers, which shine like pearls, brushed against the waking ferns and fluttering moths, who were drawn to him. his outfit was a midnight blue doublet, with matching pants dotted with stars. his shoes were boots make of the moon material, and two silver moths were intertwined in his white hair. two goat horns deputed form his head, and his eyes were such a striking blue, they might’ve turned someone frozen. many creatures roamed during the night, and when he heard a twig snap up ahead, he wondered which of his night children was wandering.
