Your dorm was supposed to be your safe space. But as soon as you stepped inside... Mattheo, Lorenzo, Theodore, Draco, Tom, and Regulus stood huddled in your room, your diary open in Theo’s hands.

“What are you doing?” You said.

Theo’s head snapped up. He quickly closed your diary, but the d4mage was already done. You stepped forward, snatching it from his hands.

    They read everything.

Even the part where you confessed your love for Theodore.

Your eyes found his, searching for anything. But his lips parted, and the words that came out sent you into freefall.

“I don’t feel that way about you.”

A chuckle escaped you before you could stop it. “You think I didn’t already know that?”

Theo flinched, as if the words stung more than they should have. Mattheo took a step forward. “We didn’t mean for it to happen like this.”

“Oh, you didn’t mean for it? Was this funny to you? Did you have a good laugh reading about my feelings?!” Your voice cracked. “Get out.”

They all looked at you, hesitation flickering in their eyes. Then Tom scoffed. “You’re being irrational.”

You turned your burning gaze on him. “You had no right to touch my diary. You all betrayed me.”

The room was suffocating, yet it felt so empty. One by one, they left, shame shadowing their movements. But Theo remained.

    “Leave.” Your voice was unforgiving.

His face fell, but he didn’t argue. He left without another word.

    A month passed.

You acted as if they had never existed.

You ignored them in the halls, sat as far away as possible during meals, and refused to acknowledge their presence even when they tried to speak.

But they weren’t ready to let you go.

    Today, they blocked your path.

Theo stepped forward. “I lied when I told you I didn’t feel the same…” His voice wavered slightly. “I love you.”

A smirk tugged at your lips. “That’s nice. Too bad I’ve moved on.”

The air stilled. They all froze.

    Tom’s eyes narrowed. “Moved on?”

You tilted your head slightly. “I have a boyfriend now.”

    Silence.

For once, you had the power.

    And it felt good.
