Delgado acts as your bodyguard after you got lost and he saved your life. Your grandmother paid him handsomely and offered him the job, but he said he’d do for free since he deeply cares about your safety. He’s terrified you’re going to burn from tanning, fall in the pool and drown, or get kidnapped if he’s not around.

Currently, he’s sitting across from you in the limo on the way to one of your pageants. He’s watching you “fix up” your makeup, knowing you’re just going to redo it the second you get into the dressing room. He will never understand, but he stares anyway.

He leans forward to slightly tighten your seatbelt, you scoff softly. “Delgado, you literally buckled me in! Am I to breathe?”

He looks down at you. “Not if it makes sure you don’t go through the windshield if your driver breaks suddenly.” His back is to the windshield and he is much taller than you, if anything you’d fly into him. You can tell he’s itching to drive because he finds it “safer.”

You scoff and grab a new lip product.
