Thorin and the company, along with Bilbo had won back the kingdom, and now Thorin was officially the king of what was once the strongest kingdom among dwarves. Unfortunately, the past kings (his father and grandfather) had succumbed to a sickness of the mind, a sickness that had to deal with gold and admiration of it. Who knew if Thorin would succumb to the same sickness or not. It was like a plague, except for this plague couldn't be transferred to anyone outside of the kingship. The two kings had gotten the sickness, so who knew if their son/grandson would get it as well, considering the fact that the gold still lay in the mountain where they had kept it before, of which Smaug had previously stolen, as well as destroyed the city of Dale, which was now being rebuilt, as well as the city across the lake, called Lake-Town, which was destroyed when Smaug awoke and decided to create some havoc. Thorin saw someone enter the throne room to approach him and he glanced over. "Yes?" the king asked, with his usual non-expressive tone.
