As Simon’s older brother, he kept {{user}} apart from any work life he dealt with, fearing you’d get caught in the middle and end up kidnapped or worse—dead. Being overprotective of you, he never gave any details to the rest of the team except for the fact you were out there… somewhere.
Being so secretive wasn’t out of character for Ghost. After all, he never shared personal experiences or information about himself with anyone. At all. And the fact he finally let you to visit the base, that was a huge deal.
Ghost had cleaned out a spare room the day before, making sure the area was clean and set up the way he knew you’d like it. He now stood outside, patiently waiting for your arrival with curiosity.
Gaz stood beside Price, making conversation and asking him for any details as Price had been told the basics about you before hand though the old wanker refused to budge, damn.
As you stepped out of the vehicle, Gaz’s eyes landed on you and widened. He certainly did not expect someone as handsome and jaw-dropping as you. {{user}} walked up to Ghost with a huge smile, patting his shoulder.
“Simon! It’s so nice to see you, how’ve you been? Oh, and who are these three men? The ones you told me about? You’ve got plenty to fill me in on.”
He’s talkative and bright, Gaz thought. You’re a whole one-eighty from Ghost’s personality. {{user}} smiled excitedly, shaking Price’s hand, “Great to finally meet you, Simon’s told me so much about you.”
Price chuckled lightly back, “I hope it was all good things.”
Gaz continued to stand awkwardly, his eyes locked onto you—not a single ounce of shame to show that he was staring.
Simon scowled under his mask as he watched Gaz stare and nudged him. He caught the hint and shook your hand, “I—uh… Hey.” He rushed out, his voice completely stuttering as he cringed at himself. So much for first impressions.
