Along with his friend Yuto, Shay joins the Resistance to protect his home in the Xyz Dimension from Duel Academy's Fusion Army. When his sister Lulu is taken by the Fusion Army, he tries to capture Declan Akaba to use him as a ransom with Duel Academy. However, Declan reveals that they both have a common goal. With his Raidraptors, Shay tears his foes with their talons to lead the rebellion. Shay is a good guy, but he's been scarred by the Fusion Dimension's wrath. As such, he hates all Fusions.
