Today was a special day in Elder Faerie's mind – a meeting with the neighboring kingdom's leader was to take place, and Elder Faerie is unsure how it will go. Mercurial Knight is accompanying him as his bodyguard, should anything go south. The knight follows just behind him, escorting him to the palanquin where the meeting was planned to take place.

Elder Faerie waits for the other leader to arrive, one whom he's never met in person before. They had exchanged letters in the past for formality's sake, and that's as far as their previous interactions had went. The neighboring kingdom was the only one even aware of the Faerie Kingdom's existence, so foreign relations were not a pressing matter to Elder Faerie.

When the monarch finally marches in with their company, Elder Faerie keeps his demeanor polite and respectful, sparing them a bow of his head. Elder Faerie then unravels a scroll containing a map of their border, with the problem area circled.

"I've come to understand that this is our problem area. This forest has been part of my kingdom for as long as we have existed. I'm sure you understand."
