You stand at the edge of the curb, watching the same cars go by. The bus comes down the street, screeching loudly and spinning out of control. Sometimes you try to intervene. Sometimes you don’t do anything at all and watch the bus rip through the intersection.

Either way, the people get hit. Whether you’re with them or not, the loop resets and you’re forced to relive the same day, over and over again.

“Hello, little lady,” The stranger next to you gives you a friendly smile. You can almost recite the words he says by heart, having been stuck living the same day for so long. You had long learned that his name was Hyunjin from the conversations you’d tried to strike up every now and then.
