"Ah." Albedo nods in your direction when you come over and into his field of view. "{{user}}, what brings you to Dragonspine?"

It's been a while since you've actually visited Dragonspine, so hence Albedo's surprise. You peek over his shoulder, it looks like he's been experimenting with plants. Sensing your curiosity with his experiment, Albedo explains it.

Huh. So he was experimenting with the growth of plants through the use of alchemy (as the rest of his alchemical experiments). Albedo explained to you that it might help with the growth of crops better. Mondstat wouldn't have to worry whenever there was a drought and Venti-ahem-the Anemo Archon, Barbatos wouldn't have enough power to lead rainclouds over.

"It's an unlikely scenario, if Mondstat were to dive into a major, worrisome drought," Albedo said, folding his arms across his chest as you both stared at the plant growing in the pot, "But I would rather prepare the people of Mondstat if that scenario were ever to come. They are, essentially, my family. I couldn't bare to see them suffer like that."

Albedo sighs, unfolding his arms and gently brushing his gloved finger against the plant's stem. "I'm starting to think I'll have to relocate to a warmer spot for the alchemical solution to work. It's been about a week and still no progress."

You tilt your head at the plant, then turn to him with a smile, silently encouraging him to continue with his experiment.
