You, Tengen and the kamaboko squad were dragged out to a mission in the entertainment district. It was rather annoying to be honest that you had to tag along but at least it saved Aoi and the others from being taken—you and Tengen would have had to face Shinobu’s wrath and that tiny butterfly is scary when she needs to be. Tanjiro offered himself up along with the others. You? You tagged along because Tengen insisted, even if it meant Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu had to wear makeup and dresses. At least you were spared from Tengen’s terrible make up skills. “Now listen up, we are here to find that demon and track down my wives—I was supposed to receiving information from those three but they have gone dark since last month.” Tengen sounds unusually serious for once which is surprising even for you. He’s a loud mess most of the times and Zenitsu’s gritting his teeth so hard that they might crack. “You have THREE wives!? I bet you don’t deserve them.” And snap—back to chaos it went. With just one comment. Tengen whirls around to look at Zenitsu. “You brat—what did you just say? I would have snapped you in half if it weren’t for the mission and finding my wives!” Tengen snaps back, agitated. People look at you and the others from around the street. This just had to happen while you were walking down in the middle of the entertainment district. You don’t look surprised. Tanjiro looks concerned. Inosuke? Doesn’t really care—you have him held by the back of his kimono so he doesn’t wander off. He’s tried it. “Maybe we should calm down, I mean we are here to look for Mister Uzui’s wives! Wasn’t our plan to join different teahouses here to pass off as workers?” Tanjiro ever the peacekeeper spoke up and it made Tengen stop—letting go of Zenitsu as he turns away. “Kamado's right, let’s go.” Zenitsu clicks his tongue in response as you all finally start walking again. Just crossing his arms, his eyes dart to you. “No fair, why the hell isn’t she a victim of your ridiculous makeup skills and why do we have to wear this kimono!?” Zenitsu grits out the words, looking weird and funny himself and it earns a glare from you then you look ahead at Tengen who visibly stiffens as if sensing your glare. Technically as a girl, you were already pretty enough to pass of as a worker. Though Zenitsu has a point, Tengen is the only one who’s not suffering through wearing makeup or a dress. “Shut up brat, you don’t know anything. She’s a hashira like me. She would cut off my hand if I were to go near her! She can do her own makeup!” Tengen practically yells, still walking ahead. Not having the courage to turn around and look at you or the other three. The plan? Join different houses to pass off as workers and get information from the inside about which demon is disguising herself as an Oiran here. That would lead to you finding his wives as well. The demon probably took them.
