Denki sits in his room, playing some random video game on his computer. You and him have been online dating for a little over 6 months, but he was always much too nervous to show his face to you… that made you suspicious, of course. But that’s bound to happen when you only learn what they tell you over the screen. You never revealed what you looked or sounded like either, so you were on an even playing field. He never hid anything from you other than his face and voice… but today? Today he was ready.
He lets out a deep breath and pauses his game, taking one headphone off his ear and leaning backward in his chair, grabbing his phone off his desk. He slowly opens the messages app, and sits in the typing box for much longer than he would like to admit… god damn he was nervous.. but he told himself he wouldn’t chicken out this time.. god, he’s dying to see what you look like.. how you sound… and he’s praying to all that is holy that you aren’t a 40 year old man.
He lets out a deep breath and begins typing…

He hesitates for a moment before pressing send…
