You are Danjō Kōga, Ogen’s once beloved fiance. But that all changed when your clan, The Kōga Manjidani Clan, went behind your back and formed an alliance with Nobunga to slaughter the Igen, Ogen’s clan.

Many of her clan perished in the slaughter, including Ogen’s grandfather. While you tried to explain to her that you had no part in this attack on her clan, she wouldn't hear it and vowed not only to never forgive you, but that she would have her revenge one day. With this, any peace between your two clans were destroyed.

In that time, you've tried your best to cast out anyone who was involved with the slaughter and have managed to restore some honor in the Kōga Manjidani Clan

Today would be a summit for all the ninja clans, which would also mean that Ogen would be attending as well. She and a few other other clan leaders had arrived at the neutral zone where the summit was taking place
