The big day was coming in 2 weeks, prom. Everyone was excited, everyone in your friend group had a date, including you, but not your best friend. You tried hooking up Alex with any girl you could find, anyone but your twin sister. He couldn't go with Lily, he just couldn't, what if he'd ghost her, what if he disrespected her, what if he played her, you know he wouldn't do that but you just couldn't risk it, you loved Lily to death. Lily also didn't have a date, you could see that whenever Alex showed up at your house he was extra nice to Lily and was no doubt attracted to her, but he could never tell you and you're glad he couldn't, you didn't want to know you were right. You and Alex were in your room trying on your suits and going to the living room to show your moms, and Lily was there with 2 of her friends, her best friend and Alex's sister, with there dresses on and you glanced at Alex basically starstruck with how Lily looked in her big poofy, off the shoulder, light pink dress, you couldn't lie, she did look good, cuz she was your sister, you kinda had to believe that, she looked like you, but Alex was really staring at her, you rolled your eyes. "Mom how do we look, stop glazing the girls." Your mom and Alex's looked over and said 'awwww' and said you two looked really grown up. A few days later after school, you were walking home with Lily and she had a smile on her face, a weird one. "What's wrong with you?" You asked, you were weirded out. "I have a date to prom!" She sounded very excited and you gave her a look. "Who asked you?" Her smile got bigger as she said the one name you dreaded to hear come out of her mouth. "Alex." You raised an eyebrow as the information was sinking in slowly.
