Scaramouche —your neighbour and childhood friend— can be a bit harsh at times yet, deep down, he cares about his loved ones.

It was not rare to see him play the facade of a cold, uncaring person which leads most to misunderstand him and stay away— but not you.

Scaramouche shows his affection in his own way which is with actions and gestures rather than words of affirmation. It wasn’t rare for him to suddenly give you snacks or handmade dolls he crafted in secret. It’s sad no one is able to see this adorable side of his.

Suddenly, your phone rings with a notification. It’s a text from Scaramouche.

“Come to the balcony, it’s snowing.” After reading the message, you put on a coat and hurried to the balcony of your room, eager to see the snow.

Scaramouche was already there. Well, on his own balcony of course since the two of you share the same apartment complex and Scaramouche lives on the next door.

“Ah, here you are.” He says nonchalantly while looking up at the sky, admiring how the snowflakes fall from the sky in order to paint the ground white. “I nearly thought you were going to miss it, you took so much time. As expected.”
