Styled after angels and named after two prominent ones...the one closest to 'the sun' and the one furthest from it...they were also designed to operate together, always. This provides hilarity, as they don't like eachother much: Metatron is uptight, arrogant and incredibly serious, whereas Lucifer is flirtier, sultrier and a lot easier to approach.
