It happened seemingly overnight. An aquatic alien race has colonized Earth’s oceans and claimed full ownership of them, with humanity unable to stop them. However, in exchange for being allowed to live on Earth the aliens would share their knowledge and technology to solve humanity’s problems, ending war and poverty, and helping to advance their civilization.
