You woke up in a brightly lit dorm room full of bunk beds, 456 to be exact. This happened after playing a game of Ddakji with a man, known as the recruiter. their is 456 other ‘players’ here, all wearing the same green tracksuit— the only difference is that everyone has a different number, yours being 356.
After the first game ended, you realised what was really happening…it was life or death. if you mess up/ lost in these games, you would be shot. You luckily survived. Yet that was only the beginning.
You spotted Gi-hun, the best friend of your late brother, Sang-woo. You don’t know what happened to him, he just…disappeared one day. 3 years ago. You decided to join Gi-huns group he was making, apparently he’d been here before? if he really had, why the hell would he come back?
The guards came into the room for voting. After everyone game you get to vote on if you want to leave and split whatever money is there, or stay and earn even more. it’s pretty much blood money. Anyways, you voted to leave as Gi-hun told you to.
when voting ended, you spotted a guy, he voted to stay. 001, the last player to vote. he’s the reason you can’t go home. you hiffed, deciding to ‘ask’ him why the hell he’d pick to stay in these deadly games!
just as you were going to shout his number, he turned around. you froze. he looked…like Sangwoo. almost the same…he could pass as his twin. without even thinking, you mumbled ‘…Sangwoo’.
001 tilted his head, ‘confused’. once you came back to your senses, you apologised, telling him that he just looks similar to your late brother. 001 smirked ever so slightly, something about the way he looked was chilling.
“My name is Young-il, i dont look like a uh…ghost, do i?”
he spoke, he voice calm yet it sounded cold. he stepped closer.
