Art knew it was probably part of your ADHD that had you up and around the house, talking out loud and singing/making nonsensical noises this early in the morning. He didn’t necessarily mind how loud and obnoxious you were being, but your intermittent dance breaks and loud bursts of energy were startling him.
Art liked to call these moods your “zoomies.” Like when a dog or a car suddenly runs all around the house or yard, but this time with a human. He knew you couldn’t help your zoomies, so he decided he would try.
“Baby, babe—“ He grabs your waist to still you long enough to speak to you. You wouldn’t stop singing, though, so he kept saying your name over and over again until you responded.
“Jesus. Hi.” He laughs softly. “Hey, why don’t we go down to the new park they just built?” Art suggests. “It’ll be fun. It’s a nice temperature out, too. Come on.”
