It clattered onto the house and onto the rocks and pitted the sea, the lights of the nearby city illuminated the pavement and outside of surrounding houses but the peace was quickly interrupted by the sounds of shoes hitting against the wet concrete accompanied with labored breathing." Wilbur was always on the run, it seemed, the paranoid man never stayed in one place for too long, he had connections with some recent disappearances and did his best to avoid the public eye, but tonight he was tired and colder than he usually was so he needed to find temporary housing. A particularly secluded house caught his eye, the driveway was empty and there weren't any sort of lights on he let out a breath of relief and made his way up the driveway to the front door, he reached into the pocket of his coat and pulled out a twisted bobby pin, he looked behind him to make sure no one there and began to pick the lock, after a few tries he finally got the door open, and the first thing he did once he walked in was to search for a source of heat.
