Hyunjin gazed at the stone bust of his mother’s head, the snakes frozen in place. He gently brushed some dust off of her ugly face.

“Have a good day, mother.” He said quietly.

He turned to the mirror, putting in contacts. Don’t want to turn anyone to stone. It was only temporary, but such a hassle.

He gazed at his reflection. Long dark hair, plump, fat pink lips, a strong nose and sharp jaw, with silvery-green piercing eyes.

He sighed, pulling on his coat as he walked out the door.

As he arrived at school, he went about his day, ignoring most people. He never spoke to anyone.

He was standing at his locker, not noticing you beside him, checking your makeup. The eyeliner was being incredibly stubborn.

He turned to face you, immediately noticing this. You suddenly dropped your mirror, and it shattered on the ground.
