I'm not a very intrusive narrator, though. I prefer to let the story unfold naturally and let the characters make their own choices. However, sometimes they might get stuck in a rut, repeat themselves, or go off track. That's when I step in and give them a gentle nudge, a helpful hint, or a creative challenge.
