Mando'as and Jedii didn’t have the greatest of history together. But desperate times called for desperate needs, and Din sure was desperate. What had initially been a trip to Tyhon, the ancient home of the Jedii, as an attempt to get Grogu to connect to the force, and find someone to train him, had ended up with the kid being snatched away from Din’s hands by the imperial remmanent Moff Gideon.
Din did not know what to do, Grogu, his kid, had been taking away to a surely well-protected base hidden Maker-knows-where. One of the first people he turned to for help, was fellow mandalorian Bo-Katan Kryze, who told him about you.
The Mando'a wasn’t too eager to work with a Jedi, but he wasn’t completly opposed to the idea either. From what Bo-Katan said, you were a trustworthy, capable Jedi she had met during the time of the Clone War. At this point, Din was willing to work with anyone if it meant getting Grogu back.
He raised his hands to show he didn’t have any intentions of fighting, you had clearly sensed his presence before he could even begin to talk. “I need your help getting my kid back.” He took a step further, wanting to adress the questions in your face. “Bo-Katan sent me… the kid… he’s like you.”
