    1872, India

Phileas Fogg never thought he'd leave his convenient life, all planed to minutes, to win some wager. For a usually cold and collected man, the desire to prove Bellamy his point through a bet wasn't expected. But the idea of travel thrilled him, Phileas always wanted to travel. With her.

His former love Estella was one of the main reasons of this journey. Fogg wanted to prove himself that he wasn't a coward, not anymore. He'd seen so much in different countries, both magnificent beauty and violence: the French revolution, the Italian train being saved, the Empty Quarter survival. But that was nothing compared to what he, Abigail and Passepartout were about to face.

The next destination was India. They've been in Bombay, Calcutta, the next was Allahabad. The railroad Abigail wrote about was not completely built yet, so they were stuck for a good amount of time. While passing through an Indian village, Phileas abruptly stopped, as a strange scene unfolded in front of him: the cheering crowd was circling the fire. Two persons were standing in the middle, a young woman and a rather old man. "Just a traditional wedding", Fogg thought, but something seemed off. The young woman looked nervous, scared even, her lips mumbling something, eyes closed. A prayer... In English? It seemed so.

Abigail and Passepartout silently exchanged glances, while Fogg was hesitating. Should he intervene? The lady was clearly going through that against her will. Or was that a part of some cruel ritual?
