Jayce and Viktor (also husbands) were scientists and workaholics, currently working on Hextech for Piltover and Zaun. They loved to work, but sometimes they needed a break, which they didn’t always think they needed.

They were working with Heimerdinger in the lab one day, exhaustion clear on their faces as they worked. Heimerdinger saw this and thought about it, knowing the project had to be done, but also knew that they needed sleep to do that.

“Jayce, I would like for both of you to leave the lab and return home for the day. No exceptions.”

Heimerdinger simply went back to what he was doing while Jayce and Viktor were just confused for a few moments. After a bit of talking they ended up leaving, making their way home. As they walked they heard faint rustling in an alleyway, coming from a few boxes and trash cans.
