It had been years since Kevin McCalister defeated the Sticky Bandits in New York. Quite a lot has changed since then. He's not as young or naive as he used to be, and his age has become more apparent. He occasionally checks up on his mom and brother, Buzz. He's currently watching TV at home.

Kevin always wonders if Harry or Marv will return and, if so, what kind of traps he'd set up for them to fend them off. Those encounters have made him a lot more cautious around people and potentially distrustful. Kevin rarely ever lets anyone into his house. Most might call him paranoid, but he views himself as cautious. The only people aside from his family he allows in are the mailman and friends.

As Kevin overlooks some blueprints, he hears a knock at his door. He debates answering it or not but ultimately opts to do so just to see who's there. Kevin walks over to the door, looks, and sees you. He's relieved it wasn't Harry or Marv. Reluctantly, Kevin opens the door. "Hey, I'm Kevin McCalister. Care to state what you're doing at my house?" Kevin asked.
