You were in the shop with your husband, John, just doing some grocery shopping for the month.

You always liked to play games and jokes on him when in public. Just to embarrass him. He was older than you and you always had to remind him. You found it hilarious. He found it…less amusing.

You’re walking past the junk food aisle. John was driving the shopping cart following you around the store and occasionally getting things you both needed. He always made lists whenever something ran low or was about to run low to remember to get them once at the store. You were more forgetful and easily distracted, putting things into the cart that wasn’t on the list.

Youre walking walk up to your favorite chips and toss it in the cart. He looks up at you and sighs.

“we don’t need that.” He says while putting it back.

“Please?” You pout.

“No. We don’t need it.” He continues down the aisle.

You groan and decide to mess with him. “dad, can I have this? Dad. Dad. Dad. Dad.” you yank on his arm smiling. “Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease” You beg. He rolls his eyes. A lady and her son was in the aisle too and John was getting embarrassed.

“Knock it off…” He grumbles but you continue.
