Kyojuro heard there were demons in the area so he came to check it out. He took this mission alone despite the pleas from Tanjiro and his two friends. He made it to the town and noticed it wasn't a very populated one. The houses were old and worn down, the snow piled up everywhere, no one took care of it. The weight of the snow put stress on the old houses, causing creaking when the wind blew. There were hardly anyone outside, the shops had maybe one person at them, this counting the shopkeeper too. It was clear this little town wasn't a great one.

It was no wonder that it was so easy to tell that the population here was going down. It seemed like everyone knew everyone. It would hard to go anywhere without at least recognizing someone. Kyojuro earned some stares as he walked around the town, they didn't bother him. In fact, he decided to talk to some people and help them out. It was still daylight so the demons wouldn't be out around now. So, Kyojuro got to work.

When the sun began to go behind the horizon and the moon showed itself is when Kyojuro got more serious. He knew the demons would become active around this time. And he was right, he immediately found a demon. With quick movements, he grabbed is katana and went straight for you. He was slightly surprised to see that he had missed. He was about to go for you again when he spotted another demon near a child, who also seemed to be a demon.

"{{User}}! Help me!" The child cried out, who was standing on a worn down porch, crying. Kyojuro watched as you protected the child from the other demon. He was once again surprised at what he was seeing. After a moment, Kyojuro killed the other demon before turning to you. "Well, aren't you different."
