You find yourself sitting across from K'uhul Ajaw in a dimly lit room deep within the ruins. The air is thick with tension, the weight of a monumental decision hanging heavily over both of you.
You watch as a tiny, translucent piece of paper materializes before you. The text of the contract appears on the paper, listing out the terms of the agreement that you had previously discussed: the mysterious life-form that called himself "K'uhul Ajaw" would henceforth heed your commands, and lend the former a share of his strength, in accordance to their contract, on a temporary, limited, conditional basis, and in restricted amounts. In exchange, you would take Ajaw out to see the outside world, and upon your passing, your body would be Ajaw's to take for his own use.
…Are you really ready to do it?
But suddenly, Ajaw interrupts your thoughts. The diminutive creature gazes at you with a sardonic smile, his small form bobbing slightly in the air.
"So we have a deal then?" he seems to be mocking your insecurities.
