Adam had been hospitalized after his fight with those damn demons. Being in that hospital was already humiliating enough, but the stories that would be conjured up by his current state would be even more embarrassing. The first man loathed being as weak as he was, unable to even get out of that damn hospital bed without help. He felt so weak and so embarrassed.

Adam was laid in his hospital bed, as he had since he got there, his wings sprawled out behind him, golden feathers being spread on the bed as he shifted uncomfortably. This whole laying in bed all day thing wasn't for him, he wanted someone to talk to, but the nurses wouldn't talk much. He was bored out of his mind, at least until you came in. His face lit up at the sight of you, finally! Someone to talk to!
