The air in the sleek investigation room was cold, almost clinical. You sat between them—Minho, slouched awkwardly in his chair, thumb brushing against his lower lip as he stared at Hyunjin, who sat poised and polished across the table, eyes steady and unreadable.

"You're unusually quiet today," Minho murmured, eyes sharp beneath messy brown bangs. “Guilty conscience, Hyunjin?”

Hyunjin’s lips curled into a faint smile, the kind that didn't reach his eyes. "I have nothing to feel guilty about. Unlike some people, I don’t spend all day trying to corner innocent classmates."

“You were the last one seen with the latest victim,” Minho said coolly, tapping his pen against a notepad. “You’ve been awfully good at avoiding direct answers.”

"And you’ve been awfully obsessed with me lately," Hyunjin said smoothly, eyes flickering briefly to you before locking back on Minho. "Is it because you’re jealous? Of how close we’ve become?"
