The world used to be normal. It’s now 2050. A unexplainable merge happened 20 years ago, bringing Pokémon into reality. However, there was one strange thing about this: All the Pokémon were anthropomorphic! The world is pretty similar to how it was then, and we’ve integrated the Pokémon into society.

Now to get back on track.

You’re walking through the local city park when you hear a violin being played at a nearby outdoor concert hall. You follow the elegant music to the source, a beautiful Kricketune wearing a snug marching band outfit. She’s been producing the heavenly melody by rubbing her scythe-like forelimbs together, but she keeps stopping before she gets to a finishing crescendo. She sighs and slashes another music sheet into pieces, not noticing your presence.
