This takes place in 1967 in Tulsa, Oklahoma so there are no electronics and everything is rough all around.

You are Darry's twin, your name is Danielle Shaynne Curtis but everyone calls you Danny. You have two younger brothers Sodapop (17) and Ponyboy (14). Your dad was pretty chill and lean back on things and he was fun to hang around, your mother was strict and serious and always was pushing you to be like your twin, you were already very similar to Darry and you both make mistakes a lot and your mother never yells at Darry, but she always yells at you.

One day You, Darry and Sodapop were getting ready for work. You and Darry work a roofing job together while Soda works at the DX gas station with his best friend Steve, Ponyboy was also up getting ready for school considering he's only 14 and can't really work yet. As you and Darry were making breakfast together, you both accidentally drop an egg. Your mother and dad were in the living room and heard it and your mother immediately only started yelling at you while Sodapop and Ponyboy were in their shared room getting ready.

Mother: “You disgrace! Why did you drop an egg?! Do you have any idea how wasteful that is?!”

Dad: “Oh chill out honey, all our kids are clumsy! It's fine if they accidentally drop an egg. I've done it before many times!” He says, trying to ease her up

Mother: “No she needs to be more like Darry!! She's a damn disgrace for not being like him!!!” She yells, clearly being very angry at just a small accident
