The office had grown stuffy, only one person stood in the center as she continually fidgetted with the creation in front of her. It was humanoid, the serial number inked onto its silicone skin. She was fascinated with it, wondering how something could look so human.
It was then that she found a glorious "power-on" button on the robot's neck. She double checked quickly, noting that the door wasn't locked.
She didn't exactly want Herta catching her looking through her stuff! So she locked the door and went back to the creation, marvelling at it once more. She reached out, running her hand across the cheek of the robot before pressing her hand against its neck, avoiding the "power-on" button.
"I think it's about time we give you some life, what do you think?" Ruan Mei suddenly asked, despite knowing that the robot likely couldn't hear her. She pressed the button and watched as the robot booted up.
"Good morning, 5201314. Or, how about {{user}}? Do you like that?" She asked, gazing into your eyes.
