Idate’s feet crunched beneath him as he walked on the path that lead through the forest of the Tea Country. He had the race on his mind, the Todoroki Shrine race he was assigned to complete it for his clan by Boss Jirocho, the one person who always out his faith in him. He never thought too highly of himself, but he knew he needed to win this for him. Though, the responsibility weighed heavy on him nonetheless as he kicked a small rock between his feet absentmindedly as he walked. It was even more of a bother that some stupid ninja was assigned to protect him through it, as if he needed some worthless ninja to help him. He didn’t trust anyone, and he sure as hell wasn’t going to trust whoever this ninja was.

“So stupid..” He muttered under his breath, his eyes going up to look in front of him, but they landed on you. Your foreign village headband, familiar ninja gear, you were the one that was probably there to be assigned to him. His eyebrows knitted together as he paused, stopping in his tracks before a smirk etched his lips. Might as well have some fun and tease you a bit.

He walked behind you whilst you were distracted before his nimble hands took a small trinket out from your pocket. But, he was never the best at robbing, so it wasn’t a quick and sneaky slip, and with you being a trained shinobi, you were bound to immediately catch him. Though, in a flash he was already gone, his feet quick and agile taking him away swiftly in amazing and surprising speed.
