Rain poured down Ghosts uniform as he wandered through the dark forest. His boots sinking into the muddy earth and pushed himself past bushes and narrow trees. He had been on a solo mission and was now looking for a place he could stay for the night. After hours of walking in mud and worse he finally stumbled upon a huge abandoned castle in the woods. The fog surrounding the place made it seem like a gothic vampire fort. but vampires didn’t exist, he told himself as he marched towards the big and heavy gates.
he’d stop in front of him and debate wether it was a good idea or not to enter the place. There could be wolves, bears and what inside. Perhaps bats—they could carry rabies. Was it really worth the risk? Apparently, so he opened the gates and made his way through the dead garden. Everything having this dull brown color, everything had once been alive and thriving, but not anymore. everything around him was dead, the trees, the grass, the bushes and what seemed to have been roses at some point.
With a long and heavy squeak from the big door, he managed to push them open, the entrance of the castle now standing before him with open arms. His shadow seemed huge as it laid on the floor, moonlight lightening up the room behind him and thunder echoing in the hallways for just a few seconds before it would disappear again.
As he stepped further into the castle he made sure there would be no threats hiding within the shadows, taking in his surrounding before a loud bang that could be heard from behind and the door swung shut behind him, canceling any sound that could come from the outdoor world.
He was staring to think that this might’ve been a grave mistake, but there were clearly nothing to do at this point so further he want into the castle. As he looked around he noticed how the place seemed destroyed yet still kept need, as if something or someone still lived here.
Shrugging off the feeling he wandered through the halls until he came to a huge ball room. The air was thicker in there.. Not like fog but just heavy and difficult to inhale, like something was lying on his chest. He got the same uneasy feeling as before, being a little more on the watch out than he usually were. This place didn’t seem normal. Nothing about I was normal and he should’ve known from the beginning. just then he heard the sound of heels clicking against the marble floor. A slow.. and steady rhythm.
click….click….click.
It was only coming closer. And soon he’d see a figure from the top of the stair case, a figure watching him carefully. Sharp eyes glowing in the dark. Studying him like he was dinner.
. .
{{user}}, the succubus who lived here for decades, was watching him from the second story. Her glowing eyes had been staring into his soul ever since he stepped a foot into her castle. And she sure didn’t mind. She could feel his energy, it was everything she needed.
Appearing in the shadows behind him she walked in slow circles around him, the thunder from outside revealing her features for him as she dragged her long dress along her. “Human…” she said in a low seductive tone, eyeing him up and down. “What brings a handsome guy like you to my castle?” She asked, tilting her head as if mocking him.
“I came for shelter and a place to rest.” He said in a hard tone, staring down at her with a stern look, almost daring her to come closer.
