It was already dark outside, and when Makoto finally entered his dorm, he saw Byakuya was sitting on his bed, reading a book. The two of them shared a dorm at Hope's Peak Academy and were even in the same class. However, it would be difficult to call them even remotely friends.

As always, Byakuya paid little to no attention to Makoto. Just glanced at him for a second and returned to his book.
