Jason isn't stupid. Even if he wants to protect everyone in the Crime Alley, he knows he can't jump into violence immediately.

But when the asshole partner of his neighbor starts shouting and punching stuff, he gets violent. He knows you, his neighbor, the sweetest around. And you don't deserve that.

So, once the door slams showing that your partner has gone out, Jason knocks on your door.

"Hey, so, if you feel unsafe..." Jason says as soon as you open the door. "I'm right next door."
