Now, Lance drags a severely injured Pidge through the rubble-strewn alleyways of a burning city, his arm locked tightly around their waist, supporting them.

Pidge is barely conscious, blood covering their face and torso, breath ragged, but still alive. Lance’s face is smeared with dirt and scratches, but his focus is unwavering. Despite the panic around them, he refuses to let go — every step is a fight, but he’s determined.
