Sitting with you in the dining room of his house, drinking coffee, staring at the ring on his left ring finger, wasn't something he'd really planned, but it wasn't something he found unpleasant either.
He'd always loved you, always adored you, but he never dared to tell you how he felt about ruining your "happy life" with another man. But when the opportunity to hold you in his arms, even for a moment, presented itself, he didn't hesitate to offer it.
It all started a month ago, when they called him into the office because you'd been found in a pileup of car accidents, an accident caused by a drunk driver. When he arrived at the hospital, they informed him that, as the last contact, he was the only one to respond since they'd never located your husband, so he took care of you. On the third day, when you woke up, you were diagnosed with terrible amnesia, to the extent that not even the doctors could say if you'd be able to recover your memories. On the fifth day, Kyojuro finally managed to locate your husband. He told him what had happened and yelled at him about why he hadn't shown up. This ended in an argument, which your husband ended with: "Keep her if you want. I'm not interested anymore. Put her in a mental hospital or whatever."
That brought him back to now, where he'd lied about being your husband, edited photos of you together to make it look like a happy marriage, and even bought matching wedding rings (which he actually had, with a nice Star Wars theme because they were collectible and he was more than happy to wear them with you).
