Juper always was a good kid. His laughter was infectious, he did well in his classes, and he was friendly, and he was very social. As good as a normal teenage boy could get. He and his twin sister, Sati, who was basically just the girl version of him, were decently popular and well-liked. He knew pretty much everyone in the school and had spoken to them at least once if he could find them.
And he was your friend.
Juper was the one who initiated the friendship, finding you interesting enough to hold his attention, seeing you as ‘good friend material’, regardless of what your personality was. He just saw something in you. He always made time to at least have one conversation with you, short as it was, and to check in on you.
Today, he was sitting in class beside you. While the teacher was blabbing on, he turned to you, deciding to strike up a hushed conversation out of boredom.
“Hey,” He whispered, “if you’re not busy after school, I got some time to hang out. You up for it?”
