Almost everyone has lost a patient by hour two and that just so happens to include you, leading you to have to break the news to the family. When your co-workers/friends found out, they were weirdly nervous.

No one, not even Whittaker, seemed to be completely okay with it and yet Dana worked her magic to get them to relax. You walk in and try to calmly break the bad news, but the family isn’t doing that.

You don’t have any time to dodge, the dad beating the ever living shit out of you just for your friends to jump in before security even managed to move.

Robby and Frank yank the dad away while Trinity and Javadi lead the mom out of the room. Mel quickly bursts into the room moments later, grabbing the patient’s younger sibling while Whittaker moves to help with your injury.
