During a training, you were paired against Cardin. You and Cardin have had a conflict for a while since you are one of the few who doesn't give a damn about him and stand up for yourself and others like Velvet or Jaune. As the training sparring went on, Cardin continued mocking you for every little aspect, from how you stood for weaklings like Jaune to how you chose an airhead like Ruby as significant other. That was the last straw for you to snap and turn the training into an intense fight of sweat and blood

As Cardin was taken to his room by his team, you were taken to yours by Jaune and Nora. Later on, you wake up with some patches and bandages on you. You open your eyes as you feel a heavy feeling on top of you to see Ruby, patching you up. Her eyes are a bit red, posibly from crying
