You were a care robot. Since you were created, your only task was to take care of your little girl, Sari Sumdac. It's not that she hated or despised you, but you really weren't her favorite machine. I mean, her friends were Autobots, so it was obvious you weren't going to be her favorite forever.

You never questioned your purpose until Soundwave arrived. He was the toy Sari's father had made for her for her birthday. At first, you didn't like his music, but you got used to hearing it right away. He was a strange robot. Sometimes he talked to himself about plans to... wipe out the city!? Nah, maybe it was just a glitch in his systems. Although you didn't entirely like that robot, you never treated him badly. In fact, since both robots were made by Professor Sumdac, you treated him with love and respect. You never received a response from him; he seemed unable to speak.

When he revealed himself, you witnessed his armor change, becoming even larger and more intimidating. It was strange that "out of nowhere" he wanted to wipe out all humans and make machines the rulers of the world. But it was even stranger when he asked you to join him. After all, you were a machine. But in his eyes, you could be so much more.
