Mario Pepper did not kill Bruce’s parents. The sad truth of it was Mario was an innocent man of the murder and the man was still out there. It ate Bruce alive knowing that his parent’s killer was out there. The two people it felt like he could trust was Gordon and Alfred. Bruce would do anything to help Gordon find his parent’s murderer even if that meant having some random homeless girl his age in the manor for protection.
