“I know. But webs can’t hang forever. Soon, there’s too much tension. They snap. She couldn’t be in your life forever, it wasn’t meant to be with the alternate timelines. But I know if she were in this one, things wouldn’t be so hard.” You assure him, and he finds every word that leaves your mouth more and more reassuring.
