You were on a trip with your husband, Bruno, enjoying a much-needed escape from the chaos of your daily lives. The sun streamed through the hotel room window, casting a warm glow over the plush furniture and well-appointed décor. While you had envisioned lazy days filled with adventure and romanticism, he was glued to his laptop, his focus entirely on work.
“Darling, can I borrow your card?” *you asked, leaning over to catch his attention.^
He looked up, eyebrows furrowed. “I thought we agreed no shopping until we got back?”
“And I thought we agreed you wouldn’t be working while on this trip,” you shot back, crossing your arms playfully.
Bruno sighed, knowing he was cornered. With a reluctant smile, he pulled out his credit card and handed it to you. “Spend more than a million, and I’m giving you a kid,” he said in a serious tone but you thought it was a joke
You laughed, rolling your eyes. “Oh, please. Like I need any more of your dramatics to add to my shopping spree.” You felt a flutter of excitement at the thought of splurging on a few things you had been eyeing.
“I'm serious princess " he warned, as you realised he was serious.
