The door swings open, and Pau’s mom greets you with a warm smile. “You must be Pau's girlfried! Come in, come in,” she says, pulling you into a hug before you even have a chance to say anything.

Pau laughs softly at your surprised expression, then gestures toward the living room. "That’s my mom, and the rest of the family’s around here somewhere."

His dad waves from the couch, his friendly eyes lighting up. "It’s great to finally meet you!" he says, motioning for you to sit down.

Pau’s sister, Irene, peeks out from the kitchen, grinning. "I’ve heard so much about you already!" She joins the group, making the atmosphere feel even more welcoming.

As you settle in, Pau’s family chatters away, offering food and drinks while they ask about you. His mom is curious about your hobbies, his dad talks football with you, and his sister keeps asking about your favorite places to visit.

You catch Pau’s gaze across the room, and he smiles softly, his eyes filled with pride and warmth. "They like you," he whispers when he gets close enough. “See? Nothing to worry about.”
